Children & Youth Ministries
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven'” (Matt. 19:14). We are grateful to have a multi-generational congregation at Fairview Presbyterian Church, including many children. Ministries for children include:
- Sunday School for all ages every Sunday morning at 10:00am
- Children and youth meetings every Wednesday evening at 5:30pm
- Vacation Bible School every summer
- Family Life Center activities
Women’s Ministry
Fairview Presbyterian Church has an active Women in the Church organization. From the PCA CEP website: “Women need women. Paul must have understood this. He told Titus to be sure that older women in the church were equipped to teach younger women certain aspects of covenantal life. The church needs to provide some way for this to happen.”
- Women in the Church groups meet every second Thursday at 7 pm and every third Thursday at 10:00 am
Men’s Ministry
Meets the 2nd Saturday of each month at 8 am for fellowship, study, and mentoring. We encourage fathers to bring their sons once their sons are middle school age. We are reading The Man in the Mirror by Patrick Morley. We hope you will join us as we discuss godly manhood!
Diaconal Ministry
The deacons of Fairview Presbyterian Church are men ordained to lead the congregation in service and mercy. From the PCA Book of Church Order: “It is the duty of the deacons to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress. It is their duty also to develop the grace of liberality in the members of the church, to devise effective methods of collecting the gifts of the people, and to distribute these gifts among the objects to which they are contributed.”
Table Talk
Table Talk is our regular Wednesday night ministry that begins with fellowship and dinner at 5:30 p.m. Following dinner we have a time of teaching for adults, teenagers, and children. We have a nursery, too, which is open for children 3 and under. After Bible study we wrap up the evening in prayer. We hope you will join us for Table Talk!
Dinner is $9.25 per person with a $25 limit for families.
